about "Filzling"

Hey guys!

That's us - Sabine & Tami, a mum & daughter team and the faces behind 'Filzling'.

We live right at the edge of a peaceful forest in the beautiful Fichtelgebirg region in Germany.

We have a deep connection with nature and try to incorporate it into our business.

Sabine adores her two grandchildren who inspire her on the daily. 

She is a mega creative person & loves to DIY. Sewing soft toys like bears & rabbits, pottery, crocheting and much more.

Her handicraft is her little safe haven. Every piece she makes is created with love and dedication.

Tami - I'm the voice behind the words -  a mum of two cheeky boys. I take care of all the technical and social media stuff.

And it's obviously not a big surprise as I definitely got my creativity from my mother.

We're actually a pretty fun duo & two creative minds.

And how did we come up with the idea of our felt slippers?

Well, it all started at the beginning of 2019, when my eldest son Sammy got the first pair of self-felted shoes from his grandma.

My mum always needs a creative balance in everyday life, so at some point, she started felting children's shoes. However, we only got 2 pairs of children's feet running around here, we suddenly had a "small" excess of shoes.

And that was the start of 'Filzling'.

Now we're the proud owners of an Instagram page & an online shop.
